Terms

These terms cover your use of loopwalk.io ("Loopwalk", "we"). By creating an account or uploading a track you agree to them.

Your account

• You sign in with your email address or Google. Keep access to that email: it is how you sign in.
• One person per account. You are responsible for what is done with it.
• You can delete your account, and everything in it, at any time from the Account page.

Your music

• Upload only music you own or have the right to use. You keep every right you have in it.
• When you paste a link to a file, you ask us to fetch that one file for you, and you confirm the same: you own the music or have the right to use it.
• You let us process the file only to make your visuals: to separate the instruments, analyse the song, transcribe its lyrics when you ask, and play it back to you. We claim no rights in your music.
• We may remove tracks that someone shows us infringe their rights (see Rights and DMCA).

The free plan

• The free plan lets you use the whole studio on your own tracks and preview every look at full quality in your browser, for viewing and personal use. It includes no exports (no video files, release packs or stills). It includes up to 3 new songs a day and 1 lyrics transcription a day; a free track is deleted 30 days after you last opened it.
• The free preview is for viewing and personal use. Every file comes with Unlimited. Recording or capturing the preview (with screen-recording software, for example) to publish or distribute it is not licensed under the free plan.

Unlimited

• Unlimited exports video files in every format we offer, the release pack and stills, with no watermark, and includes up to 50 new songs a month (fair use). Your tracks are kept while the plan is active.
• Paid checkout isn't open yet. When it opens, prices, what the plan includes and the refund terms will be shown before you pay. The Unlimited trial ($1.95 for 7 days, then $29 a month) can be cancelled any time before day 7, and you pay nothing more [to be confirmed].

Your exports

• The videos and stills you export are yours to post, subject to the rights you have in the music.
• Commercial use comes with Unlimited: you may use what you export with an active Unlimited plan commercially, subject to your rights in the music. On the free plan, use is personal and non-commercial, share pages included (they show a “Not for commercial use” badge).

Fair use of the service

Don't upload unlawful content, try to break or overload the service, get around the plans' limits, or resell access without our agreement. We may suspend an account that does.

No warranty, limited liability

Loopwalk is provided as it is. Analysis can misplace a beat or a section, and exports depend on your browser and machine. To the extent the law allows, our liability is limited to what you paid us in the last 12 months. [to be confirmed]
